At the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, Tata Motors had showcased the
45X premium hatchback concept. This model previews the brand’s future premium
hatchback, which will be developed on Tata’s new AMP (Advanced Modular
Platform). Called the Tata Altroz, the premium hatchback debuted at the 2019
Geneva Motor Show. The new model will rival the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai
Elite i20 and Honda Jazz. Design inspiration for the car comes from Tata’s new
IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. The hatchback will be equipped with several
modern technologies like touchscreen infotainment system, height adjustable
drivers’ seat, multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, etc.
It will be powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that produces 100bhp
of power and 172Nm of torque.
